Subcontracting services
Subcontracting is defined as:
subcontract: to buy labor or parts
from a source outside a company
or business rather than using
the company's staff or plant
Historically, companies have approached cost cutting and restructuring efforts with a move to outsourcing. This process uses traditional process and contracting methods to affordably and efficiently resolve their needs. There is a growing trend in the Information Technology field for some companies to provide Technical Support services, thus offering a centralized source for products and services. Some of these companies do not have their own Field Service Technicians for a particular region of the country to provide the On-site repair service that is needed. These companies have chosen instead to outsource the fieldwork by contracting with Independent Technical Support Professionals. I am one of those Independent Technical Support Professionals that covers the greater Knoxville, TN region.
If you are a company that is looking to cut costs and work directly with an Independant Technician to outsource your Information Technology needs please visit our Small Business Services page.
Are you a company that has chosen to provide outsourced Information Technology Services or you represent a company that does this? I am in a position to assist you with the East Tennessee region. I am interested in negotiating the means of making both you and I profitable by providing these services in East Tennessee.
